Tuition for beginners and experienced silver surfers, covering word processing, spreadsheets, database and all aspects of internet communication including email, facebook, etc.

The Computer Suite is equipped with 12 up to date computers running Windows 7 &10 and Office 2010.

We have WiFi installed in the computer room, so you can bring along your laptop or tablet and we can help to get you started.

As a member of the Monday afternoon computer class I have to say it has been an inspiration to me.  I have been a member for many years and have learned many new skills, from the basic day-to-day emails to searching the internet; plus the more complex skills of learning how to do a poster and inserting pictures or using Clip Art, going to the Internet for ideas for a wider range of images you may need for a holiday brochure.

The class is run by volunteer teachers who are friendly, making the class a fun and relaxed place to learn.  I would recommend this class to anyone over fifty looking to learn new skills and to meet new friends.  Dee Lloyd - November 2019

I joined the class two years ago in which time I have learned how to use the computer to make my own birthday cards and Christmas cards; this was my main reason for joining.  However, I find myself looking forward to Monday mornings for the friendships I have made and would recommend computer classes to all over fifties.  It’s so good for your brain and to quote Doddy ‘your chuckle muscles’.  John Maffia - November 2018
