Ghyll Head is Manchester City Council's Outdoor Education Centre located on the side of Lake Windermere in the Lake District National Park.

The Council have been providing high quality outdoor education to schools, youth groups and the residents of Manchester since 1967.

For many the outstanding event of the year is the C3A annual visit to the Centre.

The visit is usually the last week in August when C3A have exclusive use of the Centre.
